I’ve always been a fan of khaki and military styling for its neutral flexibility, so I couldn’t be happier to see some great pieces hitting the market just in time for summer.
One trend that I can’t get enough of at the moment is 70’s inspired lace-up. Seen in many a Spring/Summer 2015 and Resort 2015 collections including Givenchy, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Antonia Berardi to name a few.
A couple of laces-up’s I’m loving include;
Row 1. Haute Hippie Gypsy Lace Up Blouse, Givenchy Lace Up Jersey Bodysuit, The Jetset Siaries Delta Shirt Row 2. River Island Eyelet Front Tie Crop, Free People Wildest Moments Tunic, ASOS Petite Tie Front Dress Row 3. Talitha Top, The Jestset Diaries X Revolve Secret Garden Dress, Lisakai Tie Back Top
I embraced the midi length (anywhere between just below the knee and mid-calf) last summer and am still doing so this season…. AND from early days at the Spring 2015 shows, it looks as though the midi length has staying power for some time yet.
Still need convincing? Below are some of my fave midi length culottes, dresses, pencil and full skirt inspiration for your viewing pleasure…
White is one of my favourite colours, but it isn’t easy to wear for many. It can make you look larger, it’s a danger zone for red wine or pasta sauce, and for many colouring groups, white is too harsh with sickly results. So, here are a few of my favourite looks and tips for wearing white;

Lace is the most feminine material, pattern, texture in my wardrobe. I love it because is not feminine in a typical girly manner but rather, in a sexy sophisticated way, particularly when it’s in a neutral palette such as black, navy or white or a big bold colour like red. For me it’s timeless, and therefore always has a spot in the wardrobe whether or not it’s currently on-trend. But lace is/has been having a ‘moment’ for the last few years and I can’t see it letting up any time soon.
Below is Stone Cold Fox’s Fall 2014 Look book which I’m in love with… very clean and simple styling with beautiful results;
These are just a few pieces I’m lusting over;
One of the trends that I’m loving at the moment is the cowboys and indians (western) look. Slowly but surely, we’ve seen elements of the wild west on catwalks for some seasons – felt hats, capes, checks, denim domination and fringed accessories… but Karl Lagerfeld has brought it all together for Chanels pre-fall 2014 Collection – check it out here.
How to get the look without looking like a seriously wild disaster? Wear two key pieces with neutrals for a chic but on trend look.
Note: some items are wallet friendly others are a serious investment ‘Ahem’ Saint Laurent boots!

After looking at a number of winter and late winter ranges this week… all I keep thinking about is beautiful coats. In particular, what I should be investing in… statement vs classic. Some looks I’m loving;
Whilst the tomboy style of dressing has been a mini sub-culture trend for the last few years, masculine tailoring is currently a big hit on the street style circuit.
I’ve touched on my shirty obsession lately (here) but these ladies are nailing the suits, hats and ties – from the prim and proper to the relaxed. Below are just a couple of my fave…
What are your thoughts? Is it a hell yeah or hell no?

At the moment I am in love with button down shirts in all forms. I may be slightly influenced by the fact that the SS14 runways were inundated with stunning examples of man-style shirting from the classics to the twisted, from the long and short, to the printed and cut-out.A couple of my fave runway looks (left to right): Dior, Alexander Wang, Maiyet, Acne, Altuzarra, Balenciaga.
