When you look in my wardrobe, everything is organised in groups of like-items, then colour. Blue is one of my dominant colours – its classic and works well with my personal colouring, but it can feel boring – as with any colour when it takes a large proportion of your wardrobe.
The way I stop the boredom? Ensure that when I’m adding more blue to my wardrobe I;
1. don’t have an identical or very similar item already hanging in my wardrobe 2. I look for different or abstract cuts 3. That the item includes a subtle pattern like the top below Or …4. I go the whole shabag, and do a big statement print.
Not only will you add interest to your wardrobe, you’ll add a versatility, which will definitely stop the ‘I don’t have anything to wear’ syndrome.
