“A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life” ~Coco Chanel… but I’m not sure I agree with Ms Chanel. In fact, for me and many of my friends its always been the opposite… A major life change has resulted in a major hair change.
I’ve often wondered, could this be a physical or symbolic expression of change? our way of letting people know? Is It our way of saying – I’m still in control of me and my life? or Is it a simple reminder to ourselves that things are going to change/be different front this point on?
In my past, it has been a career change, a bad break-up, after I got married, a health scare and now, I’m yearning for yet another hair change. Could it be the move back to Sydney?
Below are a few looks I’m loving…. What are your thoughts? Do you agree with Ms Chanel? or are you more like me and the ‘big chop’ is the aftermath of a major life change?
