One of the biggest beauty conundrums I face in Singapore is the natural bleaching of my hair. A combination of the harsh sun and chlorine leaves it looking dull and brassy, and for a dark, cool based brunette this is bad news.
In most cases, I visit the salon for a semi-permanent colour (I can’t commit to a permanent colour – the idea of dedicating serious salon time to avoid regrowth scares me). However on busy weeks or when I simply can’t afford to go as often as I like, I pop an 8 wash colour mask in myself.
I have tried a few different brands and application types but always find myself coming back to the cheap and cheerful Schwarzkopf Live Colour – Dark Brown. Results below:
