Over the last week I’ve been busy playing tourist guide as the in-laws have finally had the chance to visit Singapore. Armed with a list of ‘things to do’ we’ve slowly but surely been ticking each item off the list.
My father- in-law, who’s a keen punter, had the races on his list. As luck would have it, their trip coincided with The Raffles Cup.
Unlike most International Race Days, the Raffles Cup was not one of glitz and glam (no frocks or hats), but rather more impressive from a facilities perspective: a large tiered room with tables & lounges, your own TV, table service and a large window overlooking the turf.
My outfit was pretty simple: Dr Denim Jeans, Lace top (found at markets), Collette Necklace, Tony Bianco Wedges and YSL Tote.
P.S. If my posts seem a little on the lean side or touristy (I’m pre-warning you) please forgive.
P.P.S I did win on two races, however was only up $8 by the end of the day.
