And every time I come to this crazy place, I fall in love even more….
We landed at 2.15pm yesterday but lost an hour waiting in customs lines. By the time we checked into our hotel (Hotel LKF) located in the hip and happening area of Lan Kwai Fong (AKA restaurant, shopping & party zone) the man and I were starving!
We ventured out for a few hours – strolling markets, eating at hawker centres & stalls, riding the mid-levels escalator (longest people mover in the world), scoped out some amazing architecture and then most importantly…. went to find COS.
COS -‘Collection of Style’ is part of the H&M group and offers Women’s, Men’s and Kids clothing in classic cuts and styles at a reasonable price. The Hong Kong store is the first in Asia, having only opened its doors in late June. My quick browse (we had a dinner reservation @ L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon!!!!)) confirmed I’ll need more time in this store over the next few days.
A few items I’m already drooling over:
Oh and for those Foodies out there…Dinner at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (3 Star Michelin) was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend sitting at the bar for a more relaxed atmosphere, where you can banter with the staff and watch the chefs in action. We had such a blast, that we were last to leave @ 11pm.
